Signing in
There is no public sign-up for Klyo. You have an account because someone invited you to an Organization: an admin at your company, or the Klyo team setting your Organization up for the first time. The invitation arrives by email, and it carries the link that creates your account.
What works today
Both ways in are wired end to end: an email address and a password, or your Google account. Invitations, account setup, forgotten passwords, and resending an invitation all work. Which way your company uses is its own policy rather than a Klyo setting: an Organization whose rules rule out signing in with a Google account uses the password path, and everyone else can use either.

Both land on the same dashboard, with the same Organizations and the same role. Either way, the address you sign in with has to be the address your invitation was sent to, because that is what your membership is attached to.
Needs configuring
The password path is switched on per environment by the Klyo team. Until it is on for yours, an invitation is accepted by signing in with Google.
Accepting your invitation
The invitation email names who invited you, which Organization, and the role you are getting. Its button is Set up your account, and the link behind it works for 14 days.
Opening the link shows you the invitation before you do anything: the Organization, the person who invited you, your role, and the address the invitation belongs to. That address becomes your sign-in name and cannot be edited here. If it is wrong, ask whoever invited you to send a new invitation to the right address.
Fill in your first and last name, choose a password, and confirm it. Create account finishes setup and signs you in straight away, so there is no separate first login to work out.
When the invited address is a Google account, whether that is a Gmail address or a company address on Google Workspace, Continue with Google sits below the form as the other way in: one click, and no password to choose. It has to be the Google account on the invited address, so the window opens with that address preselected. Signing in with a different Google account creates a separate Klyo account that has none of this invitation's access.
Choosing a password
The rules are checked as you type, and all of them at once when you submit:
- At least 12 characters, and at most 128.
- Not your own email address, and not your Organization's name.
- More than one distinct character.
There are no required capitals, digits, or symbols, and your password never expires. Length is what makes a password hard to guess, so a memorable phrase of a few words beats a short scramble of punctuation. The eye button beside the field shows what you have typed if you want to check it.
When the link does not work

An admin in your Organization can send a pending invitation again from the Members tab, which produces a fresh link and a new 14 days. See Organizations and members.
If you are already signed in as somebody else when you open an invitation, the page says so and offers to sign you out first, rather than quietly setting up an account under the wrong identity.
Signing in with Google
Continue with Google opens the usual Google window and brings you back signed in. You never choose a Klyo password on this path, so there is nothing to reset and nothing to remember beyond your Google account.
Forgetting your password
Forgot password? on the sign-in screen asks for your email address and mails you a one-time link to choose a new password. Following it brings you back to sign in with the new one.
The confirmation reads the same whatever you enter, deliberately: Klyo does not tell a visitor whether an address has an account here. So if no mail arrives, check the spelling of the address you typed, then your spam folder.
Being invited to a second Organization
If you already have a Klyo account and someone invites you into another Organization, there is nothing to set up. The email's button is a plain sign-in link, and the new Organization appears in your organization switcher. See Switching Organizations.
The name Klyo shows for you
Setup asks for your first and last name, and that is the name that appears in the member list, on approvals, and anywhere your activity shows up. Change it any time from Display name in your user settings. Your email address is your sign-in name and stays as it is.
What you can do today
- Accept an invitation and choose your password from the link in your email.
- Sign in with your email and password, or with Google.
- Get a one-time reset link mailed to you when you forget your password.
- Change the name Klyo shows for you.
- (Admin) send a pending member their invitation again, with a fresh link.
